The GUI version of PASSaGE is developed for use on Microsoft Windows operating systems: Windows 95/98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7. We recommend a computer with at least 256 MB of RAM, 50 MB hard disk space, and a mid-level Pentium processor or equivalent. For analysis of large datasets, faster processors and more physical memory will be required for efficient computation.
There has been some success in running the GUI version of PASSaGE on Linux and Macintosh systems using emulators and similar systems such as WINE, but we make no promises as to the future success of these endeavors.
The command-line versions of PASSaGE currently available are:
Please contact us if other operating systems (e.g., DOS, FreeBSD, Mac OS Classic) and/or chipsets (e.g., SPARC, etc.) are required for the command-line version. While we only have local access to certain operating systems for testing and compilation purposes, we are happy to work with others to try and make PASSaGE available for a broader group of systems.
